Nicolas Candela is an aspiring filmmaker and video content creator with a focus on directing, writing, and editing. Born and raised in Miami, FL, he recently graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a B.F.A. in Film & Television.

Nicolas, or "Nico" for short, has always found fulfillment in sharing stories with others.  As someone who has had difficulty communicating and connecting with other people, Nico has always found solace in the medium of filmmaking and video making. He tends to gravitate toward stories with style and flair, or stories with a strong heart at their core. He believes in the power of collaboration and in the power of visually sharing stories with others. He also has a passion for incorporating music into his work and is deeply passionate about music videos as well.

 

As someone who looks up to filmmakers such as Steven Spielberg or David Fincher, as well as members of his own family who’ve had quite creative and successful careers, "legacy" has always been on Nico's mind. In his own words, "I am humble enough not to expect greatness in my life, but I am hungry enough to desire it greatly." He aspires to become successful in his own right as a filmmaker and a video content creator, and one day establish his own legacy that he can share with others who can then be inspired one day to share their own stories like him.
