Nicolas Candela is a filmmaker with a focus on directing, writing, and editing. Born and raised in Miami, FL, he is currently obtaining his Master's in Film and Television at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta, GA.

Nicolas always feels fulfilled when sharing stories with others. As such, the medium of filmmaking has been a natural fit, helping in his ultimate desire to connect. Stories that push the envelope visually and thematically deeply gravitate towards him. He believes in the power of collaboration and in the power of sharing stories with others. He also has a passion for incorporating music into his work and is deeply passionate about music videos as well.

 

As someone who looks up to filmmakers such as Steven Spielberg or Sam Raimi, as well as members of his own family who’ve had quite creative and successful careers, "legacy" has always been on Nicolas Candela's mind. He aspires to become successful in his own right as a filmmaker and a video content creator, and one day establish his own legacy that he can share with others who can then be inspired one day to share their own stories like him.
